You are more than welcome to help on the farm milking cows, feeding the pigs, planting or harvesting the crops, brushing the horses or anything else we can find for you to do. Other activities you may enjoy are listed below.

Cheese Making Class
  What’s better than fresh from the farm Mozzarella cheese? You will learn how to make this easy and delicious cheese in just one hour! Impress your friends back home when you serve your own
homemade cheese.

 

 

 

Cooking Class
Take something away from your vacation besides just photos. You can learn to prepare Nicaraguan favorites such as Gallo Pinto, Pollo Desmenuzado, Indio Viejo and Arroz de Leche.  We will show you how to choose the right ingredients and once the meal is completed, you can enjoy it on the patio.

 

Horseback Riding Lessons
  Although horseback riding is included in your stay, we will be happy to give you a lesson or two in order for you to be more comfortable in the saddle.

 

 

 

Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is a great way to see the countryside and experience a bit of country life. We have short rides for one hour around the countryside or we can take longer rides to the beautiful Laguna de Apoyo or the Mombacho Volcano. We have horses for every skill level and age.

 

Pottery at San Juan de Oriente
  San Juan de Oriente is famous for its potters and pottery. A shopping excursion to this small town is a must.

 

 

 

 

Mombacho Canopy Tour

The Mombacho Canopy Tour is a great way to see a tropical cloud forest.  Swing from the trees and enjoy an exhilarating day of fun.  All ages are welcome.  Cost $35.00 Adult and $28 Children.

 

Masaya Market
  Masaya is the place to go for gifts made of beautiful woods, leather goods, typical artwork, hammocks and more.  The market is set in an old fort near the center of town and is easy to navigate and
explore.
